Did you hear about the Vinoy?  Yesterday he reserved EVERY SINGLE damn hotel room in the entire resort!  All from his leftover campaign money......

I'm just happy that the there can now be oversight on this war Bush has waged on the world.  Impeachment?  Who gives a crap, that means NOTHING to anyone and it means even less to Bush.  Impeachment is for high crimes and misdemeanors...it won't result in a verdict for crimes against humanity.  Neither will a gay "censure."

So if there's anything I expect from this congress, and hopefully senate..is oversight on Bush.  Make him account for ALL the money he spent as he violated his war powers act duties by spending flagrantly on pretty much anything but the troops.  That'll be an interesting audit.  No more Bush appointed investigations into things (not that his own hand picked investigators ever saved him! lol), and maybe he'll even get war spending cut OFF forcing an end to our hostitilites on the people of Iraq.  But that's reaching far.  Giving Dems too much credit is not something I'm prepared to do.

One thing Bush lucked out on (probably without knowing it), is that he's set up whoever resumes power to raise taxes to pay for his ridiculous spending.  But it's ok, taxing Is the only way to recoup some of the lost hundreds of billions he's blown.  I just hope when they raise taxes (if they do) they'll say "Thank Mr Bush for this!"

Good election overall.  I'm pissed that the whiney bitch Lieberman got to "hold on to power" (because that's all he wanted).  That traitor, sore loser, whiney little bitch seriously jacked up the election system..and sold his soul to the repbulican party who definately manipulated the CT vote to get him elected.  You don't take a democratic state that made their democratic primary selection, have a republican candidate, AND STILL make a majority of votes to beat the DEM and REP.  That's some sneaky shit right there..but whatever.  Pombo losing (i hope) in CA-11, Santorum losing in PA, and some other good upsets made up for it.  Another big mystery is in Virginia...HOW can those retarded people seriously vote for George Macaca Allen over a war vet, patriot, and honest man (WEBB)?  Allen is a proven racist (past, present and probably future), but his dad was a nfl coach...  Crazytown.  No wonder nobody takes the virginias seriously.  It sucks that Ford Jr. lost after that dispicable campaign against him... sad times. 

Is Crist a decent guy?  I"m just happy that he dogged the president in Pensacola!  I thought that was classy.  He probably  didn't want to be seen as a tool for the president.

Arnold won!  Hopefully he'll do at least a few of the things he promised.  CA Prop 85, 87, and some other important ones LOST  .  Now all the slutty high school girls can keep aborting babies after getting knocked up.  Way to go you dumbass parents of California!!!  Oh, and the sex offenders will now get to be lojacked FOR LIFE..and it won't make kids any safer!!!

Yes, congress, which was of the majority repbulican until last night, approved the funding.   The war powers act that president bush manipulated with lies to gain the ability to invade denotes that a careful budget must be followed along with oversight as long as the president used the war powers act to deploy troops.  Well, since then, the congress with the majority consent being repbulican, has failed at both auditing the funds and has failed at oversite basically giving the president FULL control over the military which is not his right at all.  Part of using the war powers act (instead of declaring war giving the president full power) is the cash audit and the oversigh (making sure the people, via congress, are still in charge and their will is not ignored).

Dems have funded the troops because they are still supportive of them.  They are powerless however, at stopping the war, and they were powerless to do the oversight and auditing.  So they are hardly guilty of contributing to the delinquency of it.  THis is why they must begin immediately scrutinizing all contracts, all costs, and then oversighting the war efforts.  This sucks because there is no plan and taht means Bush must come up with one so he doesnt' get this war shut down immediately.

George Allan was caught on video using a very racist, derogatory comment, and he's denounced his jewish ancestry, and he's got some very racist/klan-esque college background including lighting a fire at a black family's home.  I could post links, but liberal blog archives are hard to access now because of the amount of political arguing going on right now on boards just like this!   But yes, Allen is no less of a racist than Trent Lott, and no less of a scumbag as TOm Delay.

The NAACP awarded Byrd a 100% rating in its 108th Congressional score card, based on what they consider his pro-civil rights votes in that particular session of Congress.

What of trent lott? so he makes a comment concerning trucks with rebel flags, big fucking deal, i know mixed race drag queens that wear rebel flags, it's a southern thing, sometimes a punk thing, even less often a skinhead thing. While it may be true that some racists like the rebel flag, it does not mean everyone with one is racist. How's that investigation against delay going? it's not? oh that's right, see you can accuse/indict anyone of anything, i can go onlline and accuse you of being a serial nun rapist, that doesn't meant there's any proof to the matter.
