I'm curious if with the new congress and direction that will no doubtly take the United States, that the Democrats have the solution to 'solve' Iraq?

From my understanding that moderate view of the Democrats is a redeployment of troops from Iraq into Afganistan and the rest come home.  If this happens before the Iraqis control the security of their own country, will terrorists declare this a defeat of the zionists?  And then further inspire future terrorists to join their ranks to attack again?

Iraq has no solution. Iraqis have to be allowed to have their civil war to give birth to a new nation or nations as the case may be.

PS Afghanistan... isn't that were the actual perpetrator of 9/11 is?

As of this AM, Not one of them has even an idea of what they are going to do. One good thing that will come of this is Rummy will probably resign. So Maybe we can move on with this and do something.

Yeah when you legged it from Vietnam those Vietnamese persisted in coming after you like demons from hell didn't they?

Why the US care about the middle east when all they need is good border security and homeland security is beyond me. The A-rabs are never gonna even come within an ocean of being as militarily strong as the US. What are you worried about? Batten down the hatches.

The only nation that things are gonna get worse for is Israel it seems to me.

PS Many of the insurgents are Iraqis. The highly popular Mehdi Army is Iraqi. So who are you gonna leave the weapons with? Remember what happened when you armed Osama?

Tell them ONE, finally I find somebody else that sees what is going on over there. I can't believe so many Americans can't see the BIG PICTURE. The US has to say, needs to say and finish what has been started.  The over all future is Iraq and the afgan countries we need them under our control not Russias, Chinas our Irans control but OURS. So the DEM's need to do the right thing and they will, I hope.

Russia is not aligning with Iran.  The Cold War is over man.  You must stop thinking in these terms.  Russia is now dealing with its own problems and I bet they don't give a shit for Iran. 
Iraq will split into 2 or 3 countries after Coalition leaves it.  Then, Iran won't need any help to be the Middle East Superpower.  That's where GWB was wrong.  Iraq with Saddam was a barrier between Israel and Iran, but now Iran has no opposition in the region, except for Israel.

There not? They Just sold them 700 million in Missile parts for there missile program while we are trying to stop then from enriching euranium. Ok, Its been predicted for centuries. Russia will try to Align and become one again and gain control in the middle east. Watch and see.

Does anyone remember not too long ago the Massive amount of Heavy weapons(tanks, and all sorts of Newer russian) weapons that were buried and found and destroyed. (dammit i forget where this morning, Have a docs appointment soon will look it up, name excapes me right now), It was enough to actually take on Isriel and Beat them into the ground. Wonder how they got there? Hmmmmm. Something to think about.. Theres a new cold war, But its no longer cold, its heating up pretty fast bud. Especially when they are shutting out every country from tapping that naturel gas field, they have big plans bud. Very big plans to do exactly what im saying.
