Looks as though impeachment hearings will start in the House.. I'd bet anyone of that. But it ain't gonna make it past the Senate. Bush is now a lame duck. It looks as though Pelosi (sp?) can hang her drapes in any office she wants.... I find solace that Crist will be the Gov. of Florida. Davis is a boob. Too bad the Republicans couldn't hang on to the house though. I wonder if the Dems who voted for the war (before they voted against it) remain in power. Logic would dictate that they lose, but too bad the general populace doesn't see things that way. I'm am a bit pissed that Kennedy stayed -there's a class act! Thoughts on the preliminary results????

Reid is in the Senate...I think you meant Pelosi....I will disagree with you on the impeachment hearings I feel the Dems want to try however alot of the Dems elected tonight ie Heath Shuler are more conservative then your average Democrat. If they want to hold the majority for longer then two years they need to try and unite and not divide more then the country already is...If they try and impeach and idiots like John COnyer and Charlie Rangell run thier mouth not only will the majority be short lived there will be another Republican president in 08.

Pelosi. -Thank you. I really do think that they will go after Bush. I dunno about the "more conservative" theory. I think that when all the dem freshmen get together with the veterans, they will be brought into line due to funding their next campaign and where the money comes from. I still think that there will be another Republican president come 08' -I mean who do the Dems really have that anyone would vote for? Of course I was saying that this time around... They have Clinton and that Obamba (sp?) -anyone else? I know a lot can happen in 2 years though....

I dunno, I think the dems learned their lesson last time. They lost the house and senate after the passed the AW ban in 94, and I firmly believe that ban was one of the primary reasons for it, I don't know any gun owners who don't vote.
