I would like to remind you that it was educated muslums who flew those planes into the Twin Towers.  Before 9/11 I would agree that 'show the world the peaceful side of Islam' may have worked, but I doubt it.  Right now its basically brainwashing from a very young age to hate.

Good point.  Perhaps there are not enough moderate islamists?  Or they are scared to say what they mean because they might be targetted?

Err Muslims do come out with that shit, you just don't fucking notice it. Protests in Iran about 9/11 saying that what the taliban did was totally immoral and pictures in Iraq of Iraqis saying thank you American soldiers. It's the media that does not show this shit.

Terrorists were attacking us way before we invaded Iraq.  Heck, terrorists have been attacking western civilization before there was even a United States.  Terrorists will find any excuse to attack the 'zionists'.  I mean their religion is basically, become muslum or die - look what happened to Spain and Turkey.

If the terrorists had their way we would be speaking arabic and worshiping islam.  Anyone of us who didn't agree would have been killed.

What loopholes are they talking about...I believe it clearly states that you kill your enemy who isn't islamic.  Until islam has a reformation and moderates its views then we'll have to deal with this radical worldwide movement for the foreseable future, unfortunately.

I agree.  Its much easier to show and tell the bad news than report the good.  The problem is that this moderate view of islam isn't the prevaling view.  Each time an attack or extreamists comes out with a radical view then there should be 10 moderate muslums denouncing it, but they are not.  Why?

Well by invading Iraq,, America just gave the terrorists somewhere to kill more Americans, GG. Most of the people Saddam killed were highly possible Radical muslims, Saddam hates radical muslims. Well, America should have thought about sending military equipment to Afganistan or they should take it back after cold war. They hate the western world because they are in denial that the western world would take over them.

There are ten Muslims objecting to it. I object to it. The thing is, your media doesn't focus on it. I say your media because the Malaysian news networks aren't broadcast around the world. Tell CNN, BBC and CNBC to report on Muslim leaders who strongly criticize any extremist actions. This will encourage other moderate Muslims to speak up as well, because otherwise they'd be too scared to terrorist reprisal.

And regarding your statement on the loopholes, please show me where it says so. I'm afraid I haven't memorised the Quran yet, so you'll have to point this particular bit out.

You are right, but those relgions have had a Reformation to pacify themselves.  Islam needs a Reformation or else this extreamist movement againt gays will get worst.

Wait, you're claiming the other religions are reformed, but overlooking the fact that hate crimes against gays already exist within them?
