Since Saturday morning, I have repeatedly been dropped from servers. It appears other people have had the same problem, except about a week ago (http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?id=6624). Does anyone have an idea of what is causing this? Saturday I was getting dropped about 30 seconds into the game (on 4 separate servers, with a wide variety of pings) and today I was getting dropped while I was "verifying client data." Can anyone help or is this a "time will fix" thing, maybe with my ISP (although my normal internet seems fine)?
y dad had the same problem about a month ago, he tried everything...checked all drivers, computer hardware phoned the isp, bitched to EA thinking it was the new patch all to no avail...then his phone went dead ...turns out it was a faulty wire in a junction box 600metres away since then not a single problem (touch wood)...so get ur line checked tell them ur phone keeps cutting out mid call word of warning though if the fault lies with ur gear....modem etc then they will charge you so check first..hope this helps
