Ok, so sum ppl dont want to believe in this, but just read bout these weather changes. shit, B.C. just got a months worth of rain in a few days. ppl who lived there for 50+ years have never seen this. flooding is insane, shit i dont even live there, but it is probably on its way to my province.

we, the human race, need to fucking wake up and stop being blind/selfish/greedy and do sumthing! why do people keep making excuses for what is happening?

We just had one of the strangest months in years. The hottest October on record for... I don't know how long, including the hottest (31C, a fair bit abouve the average of ~21) AND coldest October days (13C) in... a while.

Hell, I'm kind of enjoying it. One of the coolest summers on record in my area, and a rather mild winter, got a lot of rain, but very little snow. Been getting a lot more precipitation in the past few years than we did in the past 20 on average, nice having all the rivers and lakes full.

Welcome to the world of greed. In reality countries only care for the good of their economy, I am impressed with New Zealands tactics on enviromental protection, if you own a factory, the more pollution it gives out, the higher your fines/ taxes will be.

Of course. But I think it's quite a good idea, showing the problem from an economic angle. It might help get investment in some forms of prevention.

Companies always leap into action when their profits are at stake, a few lives - who cares, but profits....

Lol Yeah Lucas Heights is in sydney right? I would say aus should use nuclear energy, better for the enviroment, and Aus has a shitload of KM of deserts.
