This has happened to me in aa's and anti tank guns in several places, and each time I noticed something; the jeep i just got out of or the apc that blew up by me was so close as to prevent my exit. Although I'm not familiar with the gun emplacement in question, my guess is that it was placed to close to some other object on the map like a box or sandbags, so that the same effect is created. You can do this intentionally by parking a vehicle on top of or against a gun emplacement and then getting in. You can also get out by shooting the thing that blocks you in, provided you survive the explosion, which I have done only once in many attempts.
I had this happen a few times, no idea what to do.

I have had that happen to me. Which Stinger was it? It happned to me on that Stinger in the hill point in the WEtlands map. It sucked because there was no action, so I has to wait for ages before I was killed.
I reckon it's a "one off" type glitch, where it dosn't happen all that often and it's all EA and Dice's fault.
