What DeathCalibre is describing is GL skills, not running thru Karkand jumping while shooting nades all over the freakin' place. If you see my stats(LostMonkey), I have 700-800 kills with the GL, those are either vehicle kills, out-of-range kills, group-kills, tactical kills! These are respectable kill types with the GL. So think before you call a guy noob-tuber on the forums, call them by that name when they kill you within 5m. distance...

BTW calling a guy a noobtuber dont longer have a meaning, just like noob, everyones use it to everybody.

I've never been kicked for not bowing. I wait until my opponent attacks first, and always pull out my sweet as yellow saber at the last second to slice his throat.

Well actually, the definition of twerp has something to do with being unintelligent (ie having a low IQ score)

You have to take into consideration that these high-schoolish attempts at peer pressure are just that. Like Krappyappy said, just ignore em. I get charged up when I start to hear them bitch. Whenever I hear them start to cry, I know that I am getting the better of them. In these days of the feminization of our males, in their young minds it is ok to cry like little girls when they don't like something. The more they cry, the more I like the GL. Who cares what babies think?

the GL is fun to use. i used to bitch about it alot, but not so much anymore. it sucks to go up against, thats without question.

BUT, skill with the GL is hitting/killing people that are quite a distance ahead of you (for arguments sake, call it 20+ yards) finding the right angle in the heat of battle makes the GL worth using, and DOES require a certain amount of skill.

I've been "tubing" a bit now and then, only when times get rough, but i see myself going for the distance kills with it, alot more than i wait for enemies to turn a corner then blast em (no i don't jump when i do it either, and it seems to work just the same) :p

all in all, theres some aspects of using the GL that take skill, but 90% of the time its just fun (cept when u foget to reload it after a small fight).

just my 2cents

lolz preach on "darth" just before i respect your opinions or how you think its skill based try to have some skill as your ratios for assault rifle and the gl that youre so proficient with are atrocious =p

youll hate the new patch as dice is chnging the splash dmg for the gl among other tweaks they havent disclosed details on .. hopping gl'ers may have to find a new way to kill other than aiming thier weapon..= )

WOW, it IS a real weapon and very much more so than THROWING C4 like a grenade for example, but hey a lot of people do that too, you gonna start to complain about them too? I began the game hating the so called "n00b tubers" and I still do, especially when you throw bunny hopping at 5 foot kills in the mix.

I've learned to deal with it, accepting it as an exploit in the game (which it is) - there really is no other word for killing someone from 5 feet away with a grenade launcher while jumping three feet into the air.  I don't really give a shit what you GL users call it - you know it's cheap, no matter what you say.

However, as I said, I've accepted it as a part of the game.

What REALLY gets to me, however, is when the people who exploit the GL start making huge posts on forums trying to justify their actions, and calling the rest of us (who complain about their expoiting) "cry babies", and "whiners", etc.  I must wonder - if you really don't care what we all think of you, than why are there still so many posts being made about the grenade launcher, and defending the fact many of you exploit it?  I don't mind (anymore) that you have found a rather cheap way to get points - no one plays 100% fair - but for God's sake, just shut up about it.  We don't need to hear over and over again about how the rest of us are "whiners".  It's like three goth kids calling everyone else "conformists".  We DONT CARE about how you think your play style is fair - we think it's cheap.  We DONT CARE about what you think of us, just like how you (supposedly) dont care about what we think of you.  So here's some advice - play your style, and shut up when people whine about it.  You can't have everything in this world.

You want us to "just deal with the grenade launcher" because you aren't going to "change anything about your tactics", than YOU need to put up with the criticism you are going to get for it without crying on forums about how much whining is done about your tactic.  Just deal with it, like we deal with your so-called "n00b tubing".

By the way, as a side note, props goes out to all you assault players that use the GL as intended (i.e. long ranges, not from 5 feet away with bunny hopping, etc.), and your main assault rifle for CQC.  You guys are a dying breed and haven't fallen to the temptations of your cheaper bretheren.  Hats off to you guys, you know who you are.

The unfortunate thing is that it seems that no matter what you use to kill with someone is going to call it a noob something. I say just kill with whatever you have. I just can't wait until someone can figure out how to kill with the wrench

Maybe the game just hates me but i've never found it had that big a radius, (landed on the wall maybe a foot away from the guy and he kept right on bunnyhopping). But i'm with DrDestruction stop whining, play the game. and to elmer1082 i would definately love to club someone with a wrench

Honestly, I didn't really care to take much care of my stats until I started posting in forums.

thats funny to me .. that you need to know what your numbers are to have good ones .. you dont have to "take care of your stats "if you are good then your stats will be good pretty simple ..so its ok to suck as long as youre not aware of the numbers and magically once you become aware of your numbers then you decide to cease sucking..

earning my respect couldnt be less valued since i dont know you from a hole in the wall, and i dont want / care if you do or not . actually i guess having someones videogame repect couldnt be more worthless .. anyhow my only point was i wouldnt take business advice from someone with cerebral palsy and i wouldnt take weapons advice from someone with .6:1 ratio ..no offense meant ..
