Thing is, if a player is sitting in a gun, firing at nothing and resupplying, its a poor show and bad karma on their part, but they cant be having any fun that way? Let them, its not like they are likely to be an asset to your team if they play.
In the end, if you are happy with how you got your badge, thats fine.

Its funny people are more intuned on stopping the stat-padders and they find themselves losing, I found out this last night : The Gunship comes and blows the TITANS guns away - 2 silos lost - the padder then suicides and repairs guns while his ammo pack is still there = more points but a negative 2 for suicide, still made up for it in the repairs and the ammo pack before he committed suicide. This repeats for about 2 times so this person suicided about 3 times - ended up with the win because the other team was bitching, ended up with the Gold, ended up with the engineer badge, ammo badge and a couple pins when people came onto the TITAN. It was like that for 5 rounds - luckily I was on his team.
Moral of the story : shut up and play. worry about yourself. If the other team wasnt intuned on one stat-padder and trying to disrupt him they would have went on and won, who cares about golds or rank, that shit dont matter. What wrong with having fun nowadays?? Isnt that what games are about?

so basically everyone should not play support because you cant drop a box somewhere and get a point (note im a claywhore) my boxes kill people and i still get a point deal with it thats the reason the game has Options so everyone can pick and do what they like. Stats are good for me..... hell im gonna play support more and eginner now too! horray for more points BTW i started as assault/medic only so i could get my zeller and guess what i ended up liking it so claywhoreing boxwhoring tankwhoring anykind of whoring is part of the game! adapt and change its War. I could care less if someone wants to pad...if that's what they think is fun, go for it. How does it affect other players? well, that amo box that is supplying the titan could be better used to supply the other players out in the field.

Ah yes, if i don't like the stat system?! i like it just fine. I don't have any problems. I even consider a ammo-box shooting Jack A** the same as an opponent. They are both trying to keep me on the bottom of the list.
If you on the other hand don't like the opportunists, why don't you go play a game without people that try to seek the borders of the game. I wish you good luck. Even during chess opponents are trying to annoy the hell out of you just to throw you off game.

Because war stopped following rules short after that my dear friend. If you come from (or ever will go to) Europe, try and visit Ieper, that'll show you the rules of combat.

But lets take chess as an example. What if some people broke the rules by making the pawn(The one that can only move one to two step) be able to move like the Tower. Fun eh? Not really, so there is a reason why there are RULES in game.
War have some rules to such as, if you are a soldier you are not allowed to dress as a civilian. Other than that it's do whatever you have to get to the checkpoint.
Also I wouldn't really call statpadders "opportunists" because they are all to lame to work up their own stats in a legal way. Sorry but if you need statpadding to increase your points you really should spend time improving your skill.

To the guy that said about turrets, i dont have a major problem with the titan moutened turrets, just the AA turrets used to block the enemy titan gunships, and the people which camp wiht sentry guns. I believe they should just dissallow placing these turrets on the titan. Go for it placing them anywhere else though.
