Interesting points... The way I see it, the Federal Reserve does a good job of keeping certain factors stable (like interest rates). Really, at this point, the main financial goal of the federal government should be to cut spending and pay off the national debt. If we could run a healthy budget surplus for a little while, we can eventually pay off the debt, and our currency will be stronger as a result.Spearhead wrote:

So what do you guys like about them or dislike?Fixing an economy is easier than fixing a society. Assuming we're not into total civil war, that is. At least the libertarians admit that the 2 party system sucks.Phantom2828 wrote:

Interesting. That's all I'll add, I have no idea what libertarian means.ACCORDING TO YOUR ANSWERS,The political description that fits you best is...
LIBERAL
LIBERALS usually embrace freedom of choice in personal matters, but tend to support significant government control of the economy. They generally support a government-funded "safety net" to help the disadvantaged, and advocate strict regulation of business. Liberals tend to favor environmental regulations, defend civil liberties and free expression, support government action to promote equality, and tolerate diverse lifestyles.

Is it possible for a militia to be pro-government?

According to the constitution things like, FBI, NSA, and all those other regulation bureaus are unconstitutional.
I wonder if its possible to be TOO free.

No.
It's not possible to be too free, because in the absence of order, there will always be someone to spread oppression. It's only human nature.....Phantom2828 wrote:

Go ahead and waste your vote -libertarian.

Even though third parties have less of a chance of winning elections, don't fool yourself into thinking the big two really give a shit about your personal views. All they care about is money, and as long as they can make you believe that they will consistently support your views, they'll take your vote and continue to support special interest groups with your money.
Unless you're a billionaire or a lobbyist, neither Democrats nor Republicans really stand for your rights and interests.
So true. To bad nobody realizes it.Turquoise wrote:

Most people are libertarian but they just don't know there is such a thing.
Actually, the Republicans (conservatives) really do stand for my rights.Turquoise wrote:

Dude, no one is pro-terrorism... what the hell are you talking about?
For less taxes, but for more spending, then? Are you also for bad economies and debt?

Against stem cell research that could save lives and let other countries surpass us in medical technology
Against a marriage arrangement that has nothing to do with you, unless you're gay.
Against abortion but not in favor of the infrastructure needed to deal with the ban's repercussions
Shall I go on?
