I sick and tired of getting killed by grenade launchers every 30 seconds. Also the balancing of the teams is a joke and not even a good one. Until EA takes responsibility for this shit I'm boycotting them. I refuse to buy, rent or so much as read a review for anymore of their games until this crap is fixed

If you don't like being killed then maybe this game isn't for you. Also try the EA Europe servers, they have balanced teams and not many people use stupid tactics like bunnyhopping-grenade-launching.

today i was the biggest nadenoob in the world only because i wanted the expert assault and now i got it . the best way to fight nadenoob is to be a spec-ops and use the c4 trick or else you just have to practise shooting them use the g36e thats a gun that knows how to kill them and i know alot of karkand-maps where nadenoobing is not there so much.
I love the grenade launcher. I've just got the hang of aiming it and i can take out whole squads in jeeps now.
I get killed my grenade launchers quite a bit, so long as its not from 2 foot away I don't complain. Thats what they are made for, shooting grenades at people...savannah_lore wrote:

More often than not I'll get blown up from 20-30 foot away which is just fine with me. Thats what they are designed for! Stop bloody moaning... and we'll miss ya

You can use the grenade launcher quite skillfull (e.g. mid/long-range shots, stopping Humvees or Vodniks) and that's ok with me. I get very angry when everybody on the opposing team seems to use the grenade launcher and does not know how to use it. Having a so called "noobtuber" run around the corner and blow you and himself up repeatedly is not cool. Most of the time I just stop playing or try to find a different server where I can enjoy a different gamestyle...

in BF1942's desert combat, we don't see noob tubing cuz the blast radius is too big and ammo is in short supply without being near a ammo box..so..maybe they should add a bigger splash damage to the GL for the next patch.

Yes, they were called rifle grenades, they were even used in the First World War. They would slide a special grenade into the muzzle of the rifle and using a special rifle round shoot the grenade.idiotofwar wrote:

I use the GL to take out jeeps, gunners on the top of tanks and multiple enemies at long distance. I think that's how you're meant to use them.
Anyway, I was playing Warlord on Thursday and someone was having a grand ol' time with the 'nade launcher. I'm not going to call this guy a n00b because, well, he wasn't. He was basicly Sniping with the damn thing, and it was very effective. He was in a high place and could lob these things like a mini artillery strike - very effective.
However, he wasn't an actual sniper. I was, so he wasn't up there for too long, (he did manage to get me once though with a skillful grenade.)
The plague of n00bs firing the damn things point blank is annoying, but it's always refreshing to see someone with skill use the GL.

If you can't handle a simple cheap tactic, you shouldn't be playing this game to begin with. There will always be a cheap tactic that people will abuse. It's human nature. Deal with it and move on or leave, just don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.
Oh and by the way, there are OTHER maps besides KARKAND YOU TURDS. Play a map like Daqing or Dragon Valley if you're sick of the noob tubers. Christ people use your heads.
