If you have anything in particular you don't grasp just give us a shout and I'm sure between us we can explain it in plain english. The thing with physics is that generally the concept of something is very easy to understand but it's hidden by all the sciency bollocks.
That's the one thing I've always found annoying about school math and chemistry books; they're so preachy that they're not easily accessable to the beginner. There are hundreds of items available over Amazon that are worlds more helpful than the meandering chapters you usually encounter. Then again, math and chemistry are such in-depth subjects that I believe a single class should last the entire school day for immersion value. I can't tell how many times the bell rang just when things were starting to get interesting.
