Holy hell that was a shameless, sack of lies, bs piece of propaganda? Who's the talk-show host voice they're using and where is he getting his misinformation?
I prefer to hear from the likes of Lara Logan to dispute the reality of what's going on. And frankly, it's not hard to believe her over some BS like the OP's video...
Oh yeah, I didn't see this propaganda film explaining why Baghdad only has 2.5 hours of electricity per day. But then, that must be liberal propaganda and therefore should be ignored...

Just a little genocide, that's ok. *pats Saddam on the head*Bubbalo wrote:
Except that post-Gulf War Saddam did very little in the way of genocide. Certainly he's not as bad as Kim Jong Il, or the situation as bad as Rwanda or Sudan. Where is the help of those people?
We should be helping the people in Rwanda and Sudan, too, but that does not mean we shouldn't have helped the people of Iraq. I don't believe any country is actively assisting Rwanda or Sudan right now, but I haven't researched it yet. Someone please post otherwise if you have a link on the subject.
The Middle East has been a place of conflict for centuries. Iraq will not be the US of the Middle East, but at least they will have a government they have chosen, not a dictator. Fundamentalist Islamic state? Hmm, probably will end up that way, but Afghanistan is one too and their leaders aren't bunch of nuts who support Iran. I am pretty optimistic about Hamid Karzai.Bertster7 wrote:
. . . the initial goal of turning Iraq into a fully functional democracy is probably unattainable and now Iraq is forming close ties with Islamic states like Iran and Syria the situation is going from bad to worse.
I believe that was Donald Rumsfeld's line to Saddam when the American government was still arming him.Stingray24 wrote:

L O MOTHERFUCKIN L
Actually Baghdad has umm about 22 hours of Power in a 24 hour period, the reason they have outages is due to new power lines / and electrical poles being put in. I drive through several parts of Baghdad just to get to one of the 4 muhala's my paltoon is responcible for. (about a 10-20 minute drive if we don't reverse traffic or fly through an AO to get to a random hotspot.)IRONCHEF wrote:

And is several areas the allied presence has been lessoned, due tot he fact we have turned thoase areas over to the Iraqi army and Iraqi police. Its not the US's or another other nations fualt over here those bastards are lazy and rely on us to give them food, water and protection.... If they became proactive and did the work themselves then 90% of the bad crap wouldn't happen. But as it is they rely on us way to much and will not move wihtout a US soldier holding they're hands.
Source? Talking to both of you here, I'd be interested to hear the real figures.CannonFodder11b wrote:

Edit: according to this place, Baghdad is recieving about 2.4 hours of electricty a day (on average).

I did when I was there...they would rather have Americans with control than another streak of Genocide under a tyrant.LawJik wrote:
600,000 IRAQI CITIZENS ARE DEAD. Why dont you ask them, and their families how they feel about the American intervention.
they also would have said that number is a lod of bullshit, unless 550,000 iraqis died since I left in march 05. I dont think so. people, please quit showing your ignorance by bringing up that trumped up number. motherfuckers dont realize how big a number 600,000 is, its just not true.d3v1ldr1v3r13 wrote:

I think its funny when all these retard liberals bring up shit figures that get thrown in there face by our troops that have been over there and telling them otherwise. Idiots. I love the whats your source to a guy living there.
Its like asking me if its sunny out. One sec... Yes....
Liberal: whats your source on that..how creditable is that (in a nerdy teenage voice)
I support our troops and this war. God bless all the men risking their lives for me.

Well, we "controlled" Saddam at one point. Who's to say we don't just put in place another Saddam before we leave? If you think about it, that may become our only choice by the end of all this....d3v1ldr1v3r13 wrote:

Exactly. One soldier's experiences cover everything a group of researchers can come up with. I'd take one interview with a soldier over years of research any day. All these damn factinistas are just showing their lack of faith in the country.Colfax wrote:

My gut tells me that these researchers and statisticians are conspiring to make the war look bad. The same thing goes with the Iraqi morgue attendants that provide some of the info. I don't have a source for that, but who needs a "creditable" source? (credible)
Maybe Saddam shouldn't have put his tanks in the courtyard and used civilians as human targets....FlamingDeath wrote:

I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something. - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.
Just goes to show how biased you are. Even though I don't watch your crap news, I still know who they are. Its Glenn Beck. He whines and bitches a bit but I don't take everything he says verbatum. However, he did a great job with this. People like you are so quick to point out everything wrong with OUR OWN policy, without offering any solutions. BTW, If you consider this "misinformation" (actually facts), then I'd wager you liked Clinton -you have no idea when someone is lying to you.IRONCHEF wrote:

Post your electric video then... Even though, people who ARE THERE IN IRAQ have allready shot it down!

Glenn beck sold out his Christmas show here in 2 hours. He scheduled another show for the following day. It sold out as well. Retarded or not people like him. He is the third most listened to talk show here in the States.Atakir wrote:

probablly for the same reasons O'reily is so popular. In my opinion, Glenn Beck is a perfect example of how ANYONE could get on their soap box and spew trash and people will listen.Kmarion wrote:

Just because Master P made millions from selling millions with his record label, doesnt mean that No Limit records makes good music. same goes for pundits and media assholes
