Do i have to pay tax on any paypal money i get? like $80 or so? any info appreciated

If you are recieving funds from a person that is sending them to you directly from a bank account and not from funds in their paypal account PayPal will charge you. I belive its a 5 dollar flat fee.
IF you are in the UK you have to pay £0.25 per transaction.

yes im in uk. so it would be ok for someone , a friend in usa to send me some money and i can keep it? The tax system here is so strict its better to be safe than sorry or get a £600,000 lawsuit on your ass for tax evation

Here in the states and i am sure it is everywhere the same for paypal, But paypal charges 2.9% per transfer, well at least thats what happens on our donate meter.
80*2.9%=2.32 <-- is what they will be charged
If sending to a business don't worry about it cuz they usually eat it i guess. So just send what your told to send.

Thanks for the info guys. Paypal havent taken anything from me, when i withdrew money to my bank it said free for over £50 and £0.25 charge for under. So they havent taken anything when i receive money? Thanks
