Installing SF

I will install SF today. Do I need to repatch to 1.4? How will this affect my BF2? Is it true there are few SF servers? SF is more laggy? Thx.

It should auto. patch. It won't affect BF2. On 1.4 there are quite a few servers. SF might be a bit more laggy for the first few times as you load all the new graphics.. but after 10 seconds it should be tip-top cooooooool.

Thanks for your help. One thing, do I need to get the 1.4 patch again for those few servers?

I think you will need to repatch to 1.4 and secondly i only play full sized maps and the last time i played there were only 70 full sized maps in total.

you have to reinstall 1.4 after SF, i prefer using the full patch not incremental. the reason behind the repatching is that SF installs the 1.1 patch thus rolling some of the files back.

as for the servers, I always find servers to play on, mostly 32 players, i rarely find 64 that are full
