Well, Im sure most of you know about it already, but I couldnt find any threads that talked about it specificly, just a brief mention here and there, so here are some screenshots of the knife unlock. I guess you get it after you get the collectors pin or so many knife kills.

no option that i can see, i just got on a server and pulled out my knife and saw it for the first time. i dont mind the dogtag so much though. itd be cool if it had the name of your worst victim or something.

[edit] no real benifits that i know of yet, guess ill go knife someone and find out. also, this should make real nice for my knifing vid

are you sure? ive had well over 50 for a while and just got it today. im at 80ish kills now.

Yeah, I just got it today too. It looks pretty sweet. It's a nice little bonus. I don't think it does anything differently...at least, if it does, I can't tell a difference. Maybe it comes with the Vet Knife Badge?

i dont think so, i dont have my vet collectors (missed by 1 kill in a round). if what mr. freeze said is close, then im thinking 75 knife kills.

i went poking through the 2142 files and found a folder with meshes and textures for "knife" and "kinfe unlock" so there is probably only the one unlock.

You need 50 unique tags, we believe.

I got mine at around 60-65. Others have gotten them in the 50s.
