I tried that. I found someone AFK and shot him with a pistol, while healing him. Got about 15 heal points, but still no badge...=]-[f= ig88 wrote:

- Veteran Medic Badge - which map + tips?
That is not that difficult, seriously. Find a commander that moves the titan close to some silos with AA or make sure there's some brave gunship pilot on the other team. They'll keep on destroying the titan guns which you can repair then => 10 repair points without problems. If the rounds last long enough, I'm not even afraid of one day getting the expert badge.chrise112 wrote:
on a diffrent not on bf2 how do you get Veteran Repair badge? 10 repairs is very hard im lucky to get 3
If you don't like sitting on the titan a whole round (or maybe even several rounds) without doing anything, be commander. Titan flight deck is probably the safest place for a commander in the whole BF series. *lol*
As far as vet medic badge is concerned... I think a very long lasting infantry focused map is the key. Low populated Camp Gibraltar or Tunis Harbor I'd suggest.
I don't have that vet badge yet either though.

If you still need some help then I recommend going on a 60 person server with Minsk on Conquest. I just got mine last night doing this. I recommend being on the PAC since they tend to be clustered together more whereas with the EU some people will go on the frontline and some will defend. Be sure that nobody on your team caps any flags because if they do they you can kiss that badge goodbye.
Ok the way i managed to get my basic and veteran all in one round was playing cerbere landing with maximum 24 players allowed with 200 or 300 tickets cant remember and just heal like hell
Knife and Pistol server, be admin, be commander and stand in the middle of your guys fighting.
I got my badge on Cerbere Landing, with either 32 or 64 players. Can't remember.
Anyway, always have your hub out! Run after people that are hurt. Do not deploy the hub! If you deploy it and people get bored and run off, then you don't have a hub and you can't heal anyone. Yes, you do make another, but that takes forever and you could be using that time to heal people! So keep it in your hands!
The only time you should deploy the hub is if you've found several people hurt, and your hub is running low on healing power (bottom right bar). If you run out of power, the hub's heal rate slows dramatically, however a deployed hub apparently has unlimited heal power, so deploy the hub right before you run out of healing power (not after, you can't deploy it with no power).

I'm not sure if what I'm about to suggest is correct or not, but it's a theory... I think that there may be two explanations for the hours "with Medi hub" exceeding hours as the Assault kit"zeidmaan wrote:
God knows how the "hours" with equipment work but its definitly not hours
Which is good since there is no way ill run around with my repair tool for 15 hours. I mean I dont have a life but im not stupid... duh...
Another tip if your on Conques is "Run towards artilery".
1) When you have the advanced medic hub you are healing "all the time" in vehicles or mounted weapons etc.
2) PLUS when you deploy the hub on the ground, you are "healing" as long as that hub is active. Similarly, you are healing while one hub is on the ground and one is in your hands; hence, double healing.
Well I have about 20-25 hours total played. I sure haven't been healed/using a med hub for half that time.Dex Luther wrote:
Maybe it counts the time you use a medic hub. As in the time someone is healing you.MadKatter wrote:
I have 10 hours with the medic hub and 5 hours with the assault kit.
