BF2S Forums Sorry I teamkilled you, but you're on the other team!

Playing Dalian Plant last night on the Chinese side.  I spawned at our uncap base, grabbed a tank and headed out to do some killin.  Aproaching the Western flag (the one in the warehouse) I come around the corner and there's an american tank at the flag.  I happily blast away, I have the drop, his turret is turned the other way and he can't manouver.  He turns his turret tword me, and then just sits there.  What a retard!  So I continued to assault him resulting in a.....  team kill?  WTF?  No it was not a team member in a stolen tank.  Ok, it was, but his name was RED.  When I looked him up on the list (tab) he was on the other team.  But he was on my team.  He punished me for the kill!  I don't blame him.  I saw him later, he came up red to me, but this time I managed to hold my load.  Teamkilling and punishing is a big enough problem w/ out this glitch!
