Hi all, I 've just made this topic due to some strange sh*t I saw on a server I was playing today..
(It was an official EA server from the Netherlands)
The server was running Titan Mode and as you all know, you first need to destroy the Titan's Shields by controlling the Rocket Bases on the ground, after that, you have to destroy Consoles 1 & 2, before you can destroy consoles 3 & 4 (of course you could do it in this order: 1-3-2-4  or  2-4-1-3) and than you destroy the core..

Well the weird sh*t I saw on this servers were first:
(1) In the second round I played they in some way managed to destroy our Titan Hull without taking down the Defense Shields..

(2) After that round, the server loaded Suez, there the enemy managed to do something even more disturbing:
They destroyed Consoles 2, 4 and 3.. They managed to destroy Console 3 without destroying Console 1 !

(3) The second round in Suez, we were again defending the Titan's Consoles, but here, the enemy somehow was capable of shooting through the walls that divided the Cargo Bay from the Hallway at Console 1

You can't see much of it on this screenshot, because my timing sucked + 30 seconds earlier, it was much worse..
Here you only see some sparks, but 30 seconds earlier the entire hallway was lighting up with sparks! (It's also then that I lost a great part of my Health) And a few teammates even died..

Now I can imagine that problem (1) might just be some Graphical error that's still showing the Titan's Shield..
But problem (2) and (3) are more than just graphical errors..
Has anyone else experienced something like this?

It is probably the glitch where the pod goes through the titan walls, i have seen that for myself.

yer i was going for my gold on the titan console destroy and i could not belive the amout of time i was sitting near the ramp with my are tight to the walltucked up in the corner trying to bounce nades of the opposite wall to take out the anoying gun pods, and low and behold i was shot, 1st i thought that it must be a pod put in the drop down part from the top landing bay so i tried again and agan and the same thing happend, deffinetly shot thru the wall 4 times. a little anoying

I don't know if this is the case, because i wasn't there, but the sentry guns can shoot through walls in the titan, the main ones being the walls in sector 1 and 3.

Yeah. I entered a server, got to commander position. And then I wondered how there was some consoles destroyed and there was half of shield left. But we won the round so I didn't ask any questions.

Hmm maybe the demo pack goes through walls in the titan?

I have been killed by demo pack even it it was above me. Someone should try it and I don't have the demo pack unlock yet either.

I've seen this. This is a glitch. It you use this glitch, stop. If you don't, don't ask how to do it.

This will probablyt be patched out.

It's probably done the same way people spawn in the reactor room without the doors being blown.

Yeah that is some really strange crap right there. I'm not sure if it is possible to have someone on your team destroy it.... like if he planted the c7 on it and detonated it thereafter OR he planted them, found an enemy to kill him and the enemy picked up his kit and detonated it... could that happen? I wouldn't be surprised if it was a bug.

I haven't tried it before, but if you throw c7 against the force fields, does it fall straight down, or can it go thru (cause of a bug)?

I think that a lot of bugs that happen on the Titan, happen because of the jerky movement.
The computer calculates the trajectory of a bullet and checks if it hits a solid object. When the bullet would hit a Titan wall on position X, but the Titan suddenly jerks forward, the bullet passes through a wall because of the fact that the wall now occupies a place the computer already checked for collision and had deemed passable.

I don't know why they didn't make the interiour of the Titan a separate map. That way bugs that would happen because of the jerky movement of the Titan would be gone. You would perhaps get a loading pause upon entering, but i think it would be small if it is already preloaded or worth the annoyment of dissapering dead teammates and bullets passing through walls.

Inside a Titan, i allways forgive a teammate for TK me, because the enviroment isn't flawless enough to make good calls.

One thing I like about the titan is the kits aren't switchable. If it's a glitch, it's one I hope they don't fix. It adds a lot to the game IMO. Protect your medics because if they go down you won't be able to pick up their kits to heal yourself. Also protect your Recon dude because if he goes down you can't take his kit to blow the RDX he planted. It adds a lot of teamwork to the titan assault/defense.

There is a glitch where you can jump through the wall and take out consoles 3&4 before 1&2. I found it back in the first release of beta. You use to be able to do it on both titans, but now you can only do it to the EU titan. I posted it on the beta forums, but alas they never fixed it!

No, we DID lose health! As I said; you can see that I lost a part of my health and was recovering, and that even about 2 or 3 other guys just died.. In the panic rush I forgot to take a screenshot then, so this screenshot actually shows it a bit when it's over..
But as I said: about 30 seconds before that screenshot it was like the entire hallway was lighting up with bullet impact sparks.. On both sides of the hallway! So bullets really flew through both walls! And I was of the few lucky ones that was crouched and immediately went to prone as soon as the bullets started flying..
A few other guys too, but 2 or 3 other guys didn't lay down so fast, and they died.. And of course I was lucky that there was a Medic Hub almost next to me and the other 2 you see on the screenshot..
So we also recovered a bit while the firing was going on..

I was on a server and I had the commander or computer say "The enemy has boarded our Titan"  30 secs. after the game started. 

Then in that same game, I was defending the reactor core. and I unloaded a whole support clip in to this guys back and he still lived. the only way he died what when his own teams' granade killed him and me. I was too pissed to get a screen shot I almost put my fist through my monitor.  HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM?

I hate hackers. Its bad enough we have to deal with all the problems with this Fricken Game, now we have to deal with hackers too.

Our Titan blew up even though the game only started like 2minutes ago :-D

I heard that you can end up in some strange places if you spawn on you squad inside the opposing titan, including inside the reactor core itself while all consoles are still functional

you can make blasts through the walls with RDX and grenades, and an occasional glitch i have noticed is the ability to throw grenades through the forcefields in the titan corridors.

get your bearings right and you can blow up 1 & 3 without having to leave the room with 1 in, however...
this does require more RDX, because the damage caused to the consoles is less, and occasionally the titan realises that its supposed to be solid and the blast won't carry through the walls so its a bit hit and miss as to it working or not
it is worth a shot anyway if the enemy has those corriders seriously well defended.

edit: a small amount of re-typing to make it more sensical
