Actually, I already mentioned that - though it was just a quick note.
Also, I am almost positive that 15 seconds is required by all ranked servers. Unranked can do their own thing, but there are some rules to ranked servers like using 100% tickets = small map (100 base on balanced map), medium map (200 base), large map (300 base). I say 'base' because some start with 10% inbalance, like Karkand.
Is there someone who runs a ranked server who knows what settings must be locked in place to stay ranked?
Also, I will compare the 'killed' vs. critically injured issue my own stats (with 550 hours of total play, with plenty of vehicle time) will illustrate my point better.
Total deaths = 15,275
Thus 63.6 hours of time waiting to respawn (not including times I was revived).
Time difference between map/role and kit = 27.3 hours
Okay, so you can easily see that there is a clear gap here...
Total deaths while in vehicles = 5,623
Thus 23.4 hours of time waiting to respawn (no chance of revives)
Now, if you include in when I get blown by C4, run over by vehicles, hit by arty or any other situation that prevents me from being revived and seeing the "You were killed" instead of 'critically injured', it would easily be able to make up the remaining 3.9 hours of 'killed' time.
