been frozen during a game.? you cant move, look around, jump, shoot. this happened to me on a battlefield.no server, not too long ago(like 10 min ago), and it just weirded me out. i was just puzzled. i mean it was the start of a new round,( i was commander previous round and my team won),i picked to spawn at north village and when i went to run to the beach i just locked up.  i just couldnt move. i did a suicide to another spawn point and i was still stuck. then i hit the print screen to see if i could get a SS of when i would try to look away,(edges of screen would get real jagged) and all of a sudden my comp reboots. would anyone happen to know what might have been the reason. i searched and didnt find a answer so dont "flame on".

i know its not my comp because all hardware is new

How new exactly? And which drivers (version) you using for your graphics card?

new? like 2 months old and im using 81.84 forceware drivers for my 7800 gtx's

Is it the first time it happened? Anything you have updated or running in the background or whatever.. these are all standard questions you should have accompnied with your first post, as it could be alot of different things, help us narrow it down.. unless someone else out there had the issue and found a fix.

first time this has happened.

let me write down my specs-
fx-57 / zalman 120mm fan
asus a8n sli-deluxe
2gb geil ram
sli 7800gtx  evga
300gb sata hd seagate
600w sli psu
well ventilated Ttake tsunami case
(cpu temp max 40c)(vid temps 45 max)
my comp surpasses the maximum requirements
DSL 100mb/s

please excuse my grammar n what not i got a migraine and im about to fall asleep on teh keyboard. but i never had anyproblems before. i dont have any BG tasks running while i have a session going.as for  updated? everything in my system are all "stock" parts.
but while i was "frozen" i could see ppl running and moving, the chat text was still coming in. ill just give my comp a break.

Had this happen to me a few times.  I've found that if you hit esc, get to the menu screen, then hit
esc again to get back to the game, you can move normally.

ok. if this ever happens again ill try hitting esc. thanks for the tip
