Some quick facts, the Canadian army has 66 C2 Leopard tanks currently in service, 15 of these going to Afghanistan.
These tanks are not 20 years old, and would it matter if they were? A sherman would better than nothing, no? The C2 leopards were upgraded around 2000 so they are only a few years old except for certain parts.
Afghanistan is a war zone, would you go to a war zone if you didnt have some protection? We have lost quite a few men over there, and if this is going to help drop the number of casualties is there a problem?

Yeah, India is set to be a superpower in probably about 50 years... It would be wise of us to befriend them.Mekstizzle wrote:
Yeah and i also think their army is one that can effectively handle the mountainous terrain and whatnot. What with most of their wars/operations having been against islamic terrorists in Kashmir/Himalayas long before it became popular. I can see why Bush is going for good relations. A main country when it comes to countering islamic terrorism and even China (?)Turquoise wrote:

The only people on this earth that can properly fight a war is america and israel. Nato, the UN, and the EU cant fight "wars". America and Israel ALONE are the only people who are good at owning muslims.
