The NFL has just stated that it will be playing as many as six REGULAR season games internationaly. That is crap in my opinion. Any fan of NFL knows that a home game with the home crowd is a HUGE advantage. Also, there are only sixteen games in a season with roughly half of those being played at home. What about season ticket holders who have to pay the full price (thousands of dollars) who are going to be screwed out of a game? I am a New England Patriots fan and I attend four or five games a year, The ones I dont go to I like to watch live, how will that be possible with the time difference? They said this will be happening in the 2008 season. Let me hear your thoughts on this because I was under the impression most Europeans hate American Football anyways.

You sure it's Europe? Maybe they're playing in Canada or Mexico.

Will season ticket holders pay less now?  I mean, it seems like they would only have to pay for the game that are being played at home.

EDIT:  yeah, could be Mexico.  They've played games there before, just not regular season. (i don't think)

That does sound pretty nasty. I hope chitty is right.

And don't season ticket holders just pay the price of all their tickets combined? If there are fewer home games, I think season tickets cost less.

Europe has an American football league, and I know the NFL has done pre-season exebition games in Europe.  Why would they want to push regular season games there?

As for Mexico and Canada, I could maybe see Canada looking more at American football, but I just don't see it every taking off in Mexico.  Mexico is too dedicated to wrestling and soccer.
