Is it just me but it seems the heli guided missiles have a tendency to miss more. i mean ive shot missiles at targets dead ahead of me and that even my pilot sometimes even says how was that a miss if the white line went straight through it (when you fire the missile, a white chem trail follows). Some times it kinda gets to me when i fire a missile and on my screen it goes through the target yet i dont get the kill. Sometimes when this happens, the very good heli duel see the missile come from behind them and miss, turn and get us(happens rarely but pisses me off when it does). Sometimes i'm stripped of so many would be kills that i stop playing and go do something else. Its not worth it to me to get worked up over a game even though i very rarely let myself get mad over a game. But yea, i'm also a pretty good gunner when it comes to missile guiding-if i can see a taget spotted on the map, i dont have to see it on my screen, i can just guide it and hit most of the time, whether it be a tank or another heli. I'm just wondering if any other gunners r having the same problem.

I've had my TV missiles go through the opening of the blackhawk numerous times as well as the LAV/dune buggies rollcage. Well, the latter happens more frequently with a SRAW or an Eryx as the attack angle is better in the helicopter than on the ground.
I've only had a TV missile go through a Linebacker once and that perturbed me and my pilot (this is one of the few instances where "me and my xxx" is grammatically correct) as the Linebacker shot us down shortly thereafter.

Its only happened to me a couple of times, but doesnt it always seem to happen at the absolute worst time? You are in a heli duel both of you are smoking and you NEED your TV to hit but instead it manages to fly straight through the cockpit and you are left with 15 seconds to vent your frustration. DOH o well. yay my first post.
Maybe they should rename them to unreliable missiles, lol

Yea. i tried aiming at different things but everything has its discrepencies. One that always robs me is when the opposite chopper has its complete back to you and it almost always fails for me. Now i tend to wait for the opposite guy to turn to the side abit and then guide it to them.

YEAH!! That's hilarious! I saw the full mugshot of a black USMC guy in the blackhawk. At first the BH was turning as the lock-on warning was probably blaring and I saw the opening of the belly then I as a last effort I steered it right and smacked into the face of one of the guys! Nothing beats blasting groundpounders with TV missiles other than crushing them with helicopters. Wouldn't it be funny if you could slap an infantryman in the face with your attackhelicopter gun turret? Smurfed!!
i shot the HJ-8 thou a tank which was standing in front of me just to get killed by him and got a tk from the rocket which hit somebody 300m away... i thought like wtf.. it went thru him
