i finally hit 20,000 actually 20,222 and still no rank. why?

Patience, the wheels of promotion take a while. The master server needs to computer the information, it needs to be spread across the spectrum that you are eligible for promotion, and you have to be on a server to get the promotion. It'll take about 48 hours from the time you hit the mark.
Also, you'll not get the unlocks immediately so sit down, shut up and color!

I got promoted recently, i hit the 8,000 mark around 11 in the evening and it took about 4 hours till i was promoted ingame, i was wondering about it too since i allready got about 8,300 points at that time. Next round i got promoted and it took about an hour for it to show up in bfhq and i got 2 unlocks (maybe because of sf?). Funny tho is after i got promoted, i got a veteran medic badge and it showed up in bfhq before i got promoted in bfhq. So i guess there are 2 dif systems, 1 for badges, medals etc and 1 for ranks but i m not sure about that.
