i run BF2 on the lowest settings, if you have bf2 on the max gfx settings (doesnt matter about res) post a screen shot n the gfx card you have plz. cheers

thats on high everything with 4xAA...i dont have any screenshots since changing to ultra high...they dont look as good compressed size here either...thats on a single BFG Tech 7800gtx

I've played on best graphics on a PC that is not my own, so now I'm spoiled and when I buy a PC I'll have to make sure that it is the best of the best.
I've also played on low graphics and found the fog on Shonghua Stalemate extreamly annoying.

eh I originally had 1 gb of ram and playing at 1600x1200 at high was almost impossiable.. I mean it'd take forever to verify then i'd have start game lag for like 10 minutes =/... bought another gig and I load like 20x faster and no start lag at all.Nemesis-SBS- wrote:

nemesis get another gig of ram. I run a p4 3.4 ghz, 2 gig ram, x800xt, at 1280x1040 at most all high (cept lower shadows) and AAx2 with no problem. I probably could kick it up a bit more, just haven't played around with it.
And a few posts refer to 'flashing' video cards up to higher operating specs, someone elaborate on what that is? or is it pretty much the same as overclocking?

What is your CPU? I run P4 3GHz OC'd to 3.15GHz with a Radeon 9800pro and I run things on mostly high, some medium and no AA and I dont get any choppyness most of the time. On some 64 maps it slows down. I also have 2Gb RAM which helped quite a bit.Raxor wrote:

WOW! Looks like a whole different game! What should I have to run at high videosettings? is the Leadtek Geforce 6800GS good enough?
i have a p4 3.0, 2 bg of ram and a x850pro and i run the game on medium and no AA i don't have any lag but when i played SF the other day on high the game came up lagi, can i run the vanilla on high with out the lag?
