MECSF / Seal Ribbons?

According to BF2s (and all other stats sites that I know of), you need 50hours in Theatre for the MECSF and Seal Service ribbons.

So why is it, that I have just been awarded the MECSF ribbon on fourty five hours in theatre, yet not the Seal ribbon??

Hmmm yeah, just did a search. Didnt think if others would have posted similar problems with it. Lots of topics. Hmmm. Lousy DICE. Im not complaining...just wondering if maybe the stats sites have it wrong.

Yeah, Ive seen stuff about this before. For SAS/Spetz and other SF ribbons, it needs 50, but for some reason those 2 say 50, but give it to you at 45. Oh well, 5 hours less you have to play those teams an can move on to others lol.

Yea, no luck on the Seals ribbon yet. Currently need another 3/4 hour to get the 50hours, so we'll see

I've read before of similar problems, someone getting them with less than 50 hours, someone not getting them with way more than 50 hours.

I got both at the same moment, exactly at 50 hours.

Just another lovely product from the peeps at EA/Dice. It took me 75 hours to get my Insurgents' Sevice Ribbon but only 25 hours to get my MECSF one.....

Well, in the end I got my MECSF ribbon on 45 hours and Navy Seal on 50.

What amazes me is this:

How can these 2 ribbons have such a vast difference in their awardings? (at this point: 3644 MECSF vs 4188 SEAL ribbons)
