Personally I love the support class. Once you get the upgraded shield and gernades it's the shit, and the gun just mows people down!!!!

personally, i think EA did a great job with combining the classes. Hell, i like em all. No one used to play enginner in bf2, only tank whores did
Engineer Enjoyed it in Beta, enjoyed it in the Demo and pretty soon I will be enjoying it in the full game

I think the support class is fantastic, plus it's a great means to get to the better unlocks in other classes.
When once I can install the damn game, I reckon it's grenades, support shield and then up the left support tree to the Ganz. Ganz, acccipiter gun drone, support shields, what a combination for titan defence.
