anyone from the uk got their hands on the game yet if so from what company and what price?
Mine won't come for between 2-6 days but i did get it for 19.99.

got it from pc world here its now gone up to 26.99 but i got it when it was at 19.99

I used the EA downloader, but unlike the US version it's set to activate at the correct time friday 00:00 in the morning. Tomorrow some people who ordered a delivery version may get it delivered though.

Yeah it kept going from packing to processing so i rang em up cos i was worried, but the dude said they are all being despatched first class recorded shortly today to ensure we get em friday morning!

Largest market, it was always the way, but come on, it's only like 2-3 days of a difference, I remember not so long ago it was months and months between the us and european releases.

E.g, anyone remember faceoff? Came out here and that same week my dad received the lazer disc from the state's, alas good old lazer disc!

I can see the rationale with a later release date than the US on a distribution basis, but why does the EA downloader release have to be at the same time as the store release?

I know it's probably because EA don't want to harm store sales but people who are gonna buy it from a store to have a copy in their hand would have been doing this regardless of the EAD release.
