I have just got an idea how to make BF even MORE realistic with respect to AA and Airforce countremeasures.
1. In the beginning of the battle, once the commander is selected he can choose several (based on the map size) locations on which he will place SAM Sites. These sites are connected to central radar station and just fire missiles whereas radars do tracking.
2. player needs to ge into spawned SAM site in order to use it and attack air forces.
3. If radar is destroyed (like prevents tracking) SAM Site user can not track to movements of the planes long distance, just fire HS Missiles like ordinary AA site.
4. The missiles should be more powerful and reload very slowly
Why I think this would be a good addition?
- Element of surprise - decent pilots first destroy all AA which they know where they are and then start raping infantry and other minors.
- Formidable AA measures -
- More realistic play and more fun killing jets and choppers = less whoring and TK's
