BF2S Forums Lets give some praise

goldsword played with him the other night/morning and we were owning it up in the z-10 on wake, nobody touched the island. he was gunner and i was pilot. he was damn good too. and i helped him get his last points needed for promotion. and we only had like 18 ppl in the server so 9/9 teams and we still were winning. but yea he was a good gunner and i hope to fly for him again.

I try to remember the names of people I fight with that I like. I can only remember a couple, because of complicated clan tags etc.

- Obliterate<3 - Plays at the same iCafe as me, so the need for teamspeak vanishes. Keeps insisting on being the squad leader though, even though he isn't all that good. Sadly, recently he has become a Karkand medic whore, but it's still fun to play online with him.

- SupremeJosh - If anyone sees my stats they'll realise that SupremeJosh is my worst enemy. This guy is good, but not "THE FREAKIN' MAN/RAMBO" good. He follows commanders orders, is skilled with any veichle or kit and always helps out when needed. It's also a thrill when I kill him when I'm his enemy. He's just a good all round team player.

- =s[O]a=Macedonian - This guy is a good pilot and very considerate to gunners. He lets them do their thing.

I'd like to give a quick nod to AirAardvark. This guy I have known since 1942, (hah, that sounds funny.) We met in a New Zealand server on a game of Guadal Canal when we were both on the Jap team, he was also then called just "Aardvark". I was taxiing on the runway getting ready to take off while he was landing. He crashed into each other, (his fault, he admitted it.) but I remembered his name for some reason, and he became my (friendly,) adversary, and only saw him once more on another game of BF942 ever. I then lost complete contact with him for over a year. Until just the other day.

Just yesterday I was playing BF2, and his name just popped out at me. Not many players have "Aardvark" as their moniker, and for some reason, as we had met while we were both in planes, I thought that he would have become "AirAardvark," which was the title he was currently going by. This was a game of Kubra Dam, and we were very close in scores, me first on my team and him first on his. I was being a ground-cockroach and infantry man, while he was hardly ever seen without a chopper. He was leading for most of the round, but near the end, (when my team had one ticket left,) I got a quick three kills by firing a PKM into a buggy. I was on 69 and he was on 61, I thought I was a shoe-in for the Gold, which was compensation for the fact that my team sucked. He got a quick three kills and a flag neutral/capture assist, so we were even on 69, (I got the Gold, as my combat score was higher than his.)

In checking who this guy was, I found out that he is a New Zealander, so I draw the conclusion that AirAardvark is Aardvark, and I had found my adversary again. I did ask him but unfortunatly it was just before he had spawned back into a new map, so was preoccupied and didn't see my message. I wasn't bothered to type it again. I look forward to fighting my new found adversary again sometime, I'm glad to know he is still on the battlefield - or above it.
