I was looking for an awesome card for Guild Wars, World of Warcraft, Battlefield 2, and Half life 2. My budget is fairly decent and i want the BEST card for under 250$.

i'd go with this if I were you, but I don't know a whole lot when it comes to comparing.

get whatever card you want...personally i'd go with Nvidia because well i have a 7800 PCI-E and it works perfectly for me...i'm usually one of the first to the chopper (good computer though) but lemme just suggest this

www.newegg.com buy from there lots more selection and you get a LOT more for your $$$

Is this card good?

We need to know if your system has an AGP slot or a PCI-e slot. The gard you list is PCI-e, but sometimes people target a piece of hardware without knowing.

definately. best bang for your buck. please, please, please dont blow your money at best buy when you can get far better prices at newegg. plus with all of their product reviews at newegg, you can't go wrong. seriously rethink were your shopping. hell you could get a nice ati x1900gt for less than $200.

and no that card is not awesome.

I have an eVGA 7900GT KO [500/1500] 256MB card and it works very well. Despite the constant rants about eVGA sucking, this card has nothing wrong with it.

KO = updated cards, no more stupid errors.

you also gotta know that some of the graphic processing comes from RAM as well so you dont need "To high end" card..

X1950 Pro just came out today. Performace equal to that of 7900GT and nearly that of X1900XT 256mb.

It is the same price as a 7900GS ($200) except it is constantly 15-20% faster.

So I would wait a few days and buy a X1950 Pro...

Besides that the 7900GTO is an amazing card...it is practically a 7900GTX underclocked.

You know after looking at prices ive decided i dont really need a powerhouse card like you guys are giving me... I want one that can run it on high, it would be nice, but im under a single income and i cant afford that. 199.99$ would be ok price but anything over 250 is too much...

Its within my budget and only complaints ive heard is the loud fan. but i dont really care because i have a media-center w/ high def surround sound.
