first off i finished a round on a server this morning and when i went to the multiplayer menu there were no servers at all listed,still had some in my favourites though.ok today i login ok go to multiplayer and there are no aussie servers showing on my list.there were a couple of nz ones so iplayed a couple of rounds.when the last one ended my connection to the server dropped me out to the login screen.now the server refuses my connection.have checked with my isp and tested my connection cant work out what has happened.would greatly appreciate any help from any of the learned members.

good to know i am not alone.the ea boards are full ofpeople who have no servers in their list or cant connect.
I had the same problem this morning also. Last night after I got on BF2 my ZoneAlarm antivirus said it detected a virus. I cleaned the infected files but this morning I tried getting on and no server list. I thought crap it screwed something up. I thought I was going to have to uninstall/reinstall BF2, but just out of couriosity
i ran my Registry Cleaner v1.5 and one of the files that was messed up was something with the word DICE in it. So I let it repair it and wahooo it fixed it I wasn't going to have to go though the mess of reinstalling BF2.

got on to bf2,but no servers listed other than me favourites and some of them are offline?
EA mainpage, has always posted server down times possibly every Monday at midnight PST USA, or 8am Tues. in UK...says can last for 1-3hrs maintenance

I know what you all are talking about. There sure was something going on. Both BF2 and SF server lists were empty. Every now and then a few servers popped up...for few secs.
But...if you unchecked "same version" and "same mod" buttons (in fact almost all buttons) from the Internet filters, you would have seen about 130 servers. I know because I was playing on couple of those.

i just managed to connect and play a map, and then it booted me right back to login exactlywhen the round ended...

this is no problem with bf2s.com. It's a EA/DICE issue and there is nothing anyone here can do. Sad as it may be, account servers with EA fail from time to time or are down due to maintenance. That is not uncommon for online-based account systems.
