If you're wearing like pajama pants you could theoretically go commando. Although the downside is that you get any movement in the nether region and it'll show. If you're wearing jeans or anything your screwed because of the zipper and pinching thereby. You could wear buttonflys but those are just weird.

i wear under armour compression shorts because i have football after school, and they keep my package nice and comfy.
yeah my boxer briefs are under armour, expensive but worth it, especially if you're chafe prone
