For one reason or another...I've attempted to install the Demo, and it encounters a MD5 check error during the decompression of weapon_client.zip for one of the maps. Asks me to Retry or Skip. Retry has no effect so I must choose skip. Installation completes. Game loads. Maps fail to load, progress bar gets to about 75% but remains there no matter how long one waits. Music continues on, mouse icon is movable so it doesn't appear to have frozen.

I attempted to download the installer from another source. Same exact issue. Not sure what is up. Hard to imagine two corrupt downloads at the exact same place. Anyone else encounter this issue?

i have had trouble..mine stuffed up on the Sound_Client.zip part...all mine says tho is to try again from the beginning. And like hell im downloading it again!
i wish i could just fix it

What sucks for me is it appeared like skipping didn't impact much. I mean it loaded, it proceeded to attempt to load the map and failed about 75% in. I can understand why it failed, but so close I mean the installer had completed like 90% of its task error free.

so your game actually works? except you cant get into games?..thats worse than my problem. I'm just so annoyed...i gave up, i think ill just wait a week or whatever it is then get the game day it comes out...

Ya, I get the normal load screens, the "How to kill the Titan" training demo video, I can change my Audio and Video settings, can list the servers, can attempt to join any number...but it always seems to snag at about 75% loaded. I assume its snagging on the weapons_client.zip file as thats roughly about where it would be in the BF2 loading process. Since the sound continues in an endless loop (loop as in the song plays, stops and replays) and the cursor remains as if its processing info / is movable...It does not appear locked up in an unresponsive state.
