I will play both, but I am sick of BF2. So 2142 will be my new game for a few months. I am impressed with the demo, I remember the BF2 demo and how much I thought how much better the game will be at full release.

Honestly I think some of you are just looking too hate 2142 no matter what. 2142 demo runs better then BF2 and it's set on higher settings for me. On top of that it loads faster. It's gonna be one hell of a game and I hope some of you will lighten up and accept it.

No laser wars for me.  I know, I know... Theres no lasers.  I still ain't playin it.

nope, not me, Im going for the full line-up: BF2, SF, EF, AF, BF2142. for me, I wasn't really looking forward to 2142 cause I just love BF2.

But, there's this aspect: most players WILL eventually step over to 2142, and the BF2 servers will be crowded with n00bs that picked up the game in the mall's budget-baskets. you guys will be so tired of waisting them nubs in all possible ways that you will go out and buy 2142 just to get that 'feeling' back.

when that time will come, you can count on finding us back in the 2142 servers. later, people! ;-)

I think the opposite will be the case. All the kids will move to 2142.


I will stick with Bf2.

I had high hopes for bf2142, but I'm not going to trick myself into thinking it "owns," after having played the demo.

For me, it doesn't run better than bf2 because it crashes MUCH more frequently. And yes, I get more fps in bf2142 than in bf2, but that's because bf2142--or at least that one map--is MUCH less graphically detailed than bf2. The bf2142 map loads a lot faster too, but once again, I'm sure that's because it's MUCH less detailed than any bf2 map I play on the regular.
