That is the most ridiculous line in any post I've ever read in this.  Well actually "Saddam was the best friend of the US" might be close . . . the rest of the post wasn't much better.  The exact opposite is true throughout history.  Take WW2 as a good example, the US entered WW2 after Pearl Harbor.  A lot of good "living in peace" did.   We were still attacked and afterward served our enemies a butt kicking.  We could've avoided the losses at Pearl if we had woke up sooner.  In much the same way, even if we "lived in peace" with Islamic extremists, they would still attack us - because we support Israel or whatever excuse they come up with at the moment.  Failure to kill terrorists after they attack us is not a prudent course of action.
