I think I have about 50 or 60. Only recently started taking SSs of em though.
Doesnt make much sense, as they are not recorded in the stats. So until the server count your knife kills its not much fun showing the tags, and then the game will keep track for you.

I managed to knife a guy just before he attempted to knife my commander (he wasn't moving, probably using the commander screen). It was awesome!
Some other guy dog tags you because you where to busy taking a screenie to watch your back.
