I was going for my basic combat sniper badge, and the requirements say 10 kills while playing sniper. I got 6 kills with claymores, and 4 kills with the sniper rifle. I was awarded the basic explosive combat badge but no sniper combat badge. what gives? do all the kills need to come from the rifle, or can you only get one badge per round, or was this an error? any help would be appreciated!

If you got 6 kills with claymroes, 4 with the SR, you should have gotten the badge.

Sometimes u need couple more kills, like one or two more to achieve the badge.
Happened to me with my expert medic and support.
Just try again, and don't give up.

Kit badges are to be obtained with that specific kit, doesn`t matter how you get the kills as long as you are sniper.

Sounds strange. But then again, my veteran knife combat badge was awarded to me 2 rounds after i got 50 kills. didnt get any in between so its not because i needed 51 or 52. Hmmmm
That's because you just need 50 global knife kills.
cant rem now but dont you need a few hours 1st to get your basic 5 or 15 somthing like that, but you dont need time for basic explosives JUST A GOD DAMN JEEP AND A BUNCH OF C4 JIIIIHADDDDD

I maybe wrong on this one, but I think that if you lay a claymore, then die, and respawn as different kit, the kill goes to the kit you are using.
For example, you lay the claymore, die, and respawn as a Medic, you get a Medic kill instead of a Sniper kill.

Just got the badge! got 11 kills, 3 with claymore 8 with sniper rifle. Not as hard as I thought. I just plain don't like playing sniper. I am support all the way! Thanks again for the help!
