The single screenshot I saw has me thinking thats 2142's karkand. If it doesn't have the helos or a titan mode, I guess I can understand why they wouldn't put it as the demo map. But given the popularity of karkand, why wouldn't they put a map that is similiar as the demo map?
Honestly, I agree Fall of Berlin looks like an awesome map, but they only used Sidi Power Plant because it has all the vehicles and game modes. Just like Verdun from the beta.
Fall of Berlin has only conquest, only a walker and an APC on one side and only a walker on the other (if i am right). No air vehicles.

Almost every map looks better than Sidi.
It seems like we're playing the 2142 version of Zatar, and ok, zatar is an alright map, but not something you'd showcase your latest game on.

Sidi is a boooooooring map... Gulf of Oman was infinitely better at encompassing all aspects of Battlefield than Sidi Power Plant did.
I can't wait for some of the other maps though.
Edit: Towelly, Sidi is more Fu She Pass-ish. Zatar is mildly more entertaining.
Also... Anyone else think Titans + Wake Island = great fun? (Or are you all sick of Wake? Cmon people, it's Wake! Everyone likes Wake...)

While I don't play Oman much anymore, I agree it was a GREAT map to showcase the possibilities. The first time I looked back as we heli'd off the aircraft carrier I knew that game was gonna be the shit.
