I think you mean the HK G11 "caseless" rifle that fired a proprietary bullet without a traditional shell casing?
It was a cool idea and it did have an impressive rate of fire (something like 2500 rpm) but it never got passed the prototypical stage at Heckler and Koch. Not sure if they're still working on it, you can try googling "Heckler and Koch G11" if you want.

They stopped working on it though rumor is a few indipendents are still messing with it. They discontinued that project in the 80's though.

BF2 has weapons that are currently in service or are coming into service, the G11 program was abandoned by the German army in 1989. I'd much rather see one of the following as additional Assault Rifles
IMI TAR21 (possible unlock for the MEC)
Steyr AUG (maybe for the USMC or for a Euro army)
OC-14 Groza (Speznaz unlock)
FAMAS G2 (another possibility if DICE were to answer my prayers and add a Euro army)
SIG 552 Commando (Spec-Ops rifle for the Euro army)
XM8 (for the USMC)
IMI TAR21 (possible unlock for the MEC)

Before i entered the Army i didn't like the Steyr AUG at all but when I shot with it i really liked it.
Didn't know that Austrila also uses the Steyr AUG.
The M29 OICW really exists? It's a Weapon in Far Cry but i thought it was fiction.
Heavy stuff..and if it would exist in Bf2 a real noob-tube.

Better than any other weapon : the DREAD 
I don't think that weapon would work, too futuristic as all of the weapons in BF2 are currently in service or soon to be in service. I think the XM109 might be a good unlockable weapon for the anti-tank class, very weak against tanks but strong against light armour and helicopters, would be cool paired with a sub machine gun of some sort.
I adjust my favourite weapon; it would be an m249, with the accuracy of an M24, the damage of the M95 and a GL, ohyeah, then everybody would be pwned by me!! Muhahaha!

Sounds nice, but I'd like to see a mobile SAM launcher... Nice MG would be the MG3!!! This one kicks ass!!! I already shot with it (reallife!) and its so much fun. Is it right, that the MG3 is almost as powerful as the .50 CALs?
