OK, just a query on the 2142 veteran account names. Once i heard about the veteran scheme i was quick to join it, but to my dismay the application form did not allow " . " (as in "St.George") in the name. So with half hearted hope i put a space in ("St George") and to my total surprise it allowed it and the form went through and was confrimed.
Now i downloaded the demo today and to my horror found that spaces were not only not valid in the account name field, but would not even register, therefore meaning that my veteran account of "St George" could not be accessed. Anyone got any ideas on how to remedy this?

Also, the set up for 2142 is a little wierd. Once you enter your ea account names you get soldier names. Is the veteran account indeed your soldier's name? Or is it the ea account. Either way neither allow spaces

Yeah im sure thats the case as well. My main concern is that what exactly are these veteran accounts, and if the demo does not allows spaces, such as in my veteran account, then will that effectively mean i dont have one when the release occurs simply because the name that WAS confrimed is now invalid

The veteran accounts are only going to be used in the actual game. The first part of logging in requires you to have an actual EA account and you do this through their website. The second part is the name of your soldier, and theres definetly no spaces allowed!

Excellent excellent, but what exactly ARE the veteran accounts? are they the 1st part or the 2nd part?
