Everyone who enjoys BF2 is pretty much going to have to buy 2142. Why? Because when it comes out, BF2 servers will switch over, and BF2 will dry up. SF EU and AF will be non existant.

I'm looking for a sweet preorder offer here in The Netherlands but all they offer is a lower price without any extra, how cheap can you get, I see some nice offers in the States but not here.

oh yes - for those in UK, PC World are doing it on preorder for £19.99 - cheaper than anywhere else I've found.
I won't consider buying it until BF2 is fixed. It is the same engine, with that in mind it will probably have a lot of the same bugs.
I doubt I'll get it, the demo is cool but I really cant be fucked with another bf game. I'd rather use my spare time to kick back with friends and play the xbox 360.

hoovering tanks, almost fully controlled by mouse (biggest crap ever, tank without rotating turret), couldn't find how to launch a stupid POD to get on the enemy titan, infantry guns suck big time, environments look like shit, titans on-board arms seem overpowered and the turrets cant go 360 degrees (wtf??)
its however normal that I think that way, because generally i HATE futuristic games.
EA and Dice should have put their time on a Vietnam mod for BF2. Now THAT would be cool. M16 vs AK47, jungle, mortars, bouncing betties, napalm, Huey's, amphibious tanks, old school AA guns, giving arty with binoculars.. etc If they could add blood and gore (splattering blood, blown/shot off limbs) and if the environment could be destroyed (houses collapsing, blast craters in the ground, debris flying around), I think it would be the greatest game ever after BF2.
for the ones thinking i did not played bf2142 on a fast PC with high settings, i played it on full detail, max resolution. My PC: Intel Pentium 3.4 MHz, 2 gigs of ram, Nvidia Ge force 7800GTX. It runs any game on max specs, as long as the resolutions settings don't go over 75 MHz, my flat screen cant take that.
i don't think BF2142 will be successful. But then again, thats MY personal opinion...

I just finished removing the POS from my computer!i played it for about 4 hours and i have got to say it is terrible.Even if someone gave me this game for free i wouldn't play it.
This game is not going to be worth the 65$.Like everyone has been saying this should simply be a mod for BF2.
