From a girl

My partner bought BF2 after his brother harped on about it.  After my nagging for not being able to get on the net due to him playing he gave me a shot.  Unforunately for my partner after i had one round i was addicted and that was a year and a half ago.

My partner now spends his days watching the shit on the telly and recently i forked out on an Xbox 360 to keep him amused.

My advice - If your going to give your GF a shot of BF2 be prepared to buy her a computer of her own or an extremely huge telly!

Tell her you have to work late(playing BF2) when you are supposed to be spending time with her.  See no one's feelings get hurt.  Problem solved.

you dont. dump her. there's plenty of chicks out there to fill your free time (i.e. the time you are not playing)

I just got married and she had already gotten sick of me playing BF2 as much as I do, and it's not that much. So, I tend to just play it when she's at work. When she works nights, I can play for like 4-5 hours, but it gets boring pretty quick.
