Simply put, noob servers are truly for noobs, so they don't get slaughtered by generals. Away points seem to be minor, a lot slower than actually playing the damn game, and would indeed help those who have better things to do (school here, including an AP class, and an "advanced" english class which my teacher seems to think is AP english).

EDIT: I forgot to mention, noob servers might actually be a bad idea, because strategies which work against other noobs may not work against more seasoned players.

Where's the problem? You need some time to figure out how the game is working. In that phase, a spwn campong tank wore is not very helpfull.

I agree. I started BF2 relatively late and got an impressive death streak because pretty much the first server I joined had some fucktard high ranker sitting in a tank by the spawn point raping the shit out of it.

For the players who are gonna play BF2142 as there first experience of a FPS I think n00b servers are a good idea.

Noob-servers = good stuff.

Screw the noobs, I could care less if there are servers that help them get a better score, for me that's not the point and I have to imagine that's not entirely what EA/Dice was thinking either.

I would wager a guess that besides game glitches, noobs are probably the number one topic of complaints for this game. ie. I hate when a noob pilot doesn't know what he's doing; I hate when some noob is commander; This noob on my team was a total noobish noobber noob; etc, etc.

So if you have complained about noobs before, and you are now complaining about noob servers, I say there is no way for you to be satisfied. EA/Dice has just created on line ranked servers for all those horrible noobs to play on so they can get experience and figure out what the hell they are doing before coming on regular ranked servers and stealing "your jet" or "your chopper" or "your tank" and ruining your gaming experience.

As for the away bonus, if in fact it is a wopping 10 points and you're complaining about it, than don't play for a while so you can get it too. Seriously, if someone's been away long enough to earn that "bonus" how much of an impact is that going to have on their account...oh wait, I have a better question...How much of an impact will it have on YOUR account if someone else gets an away bonus? Oh yeah, that's right, NONE!
