SF crash to desktop after 1.4

I can play everything else but SF after the 1.4 install.
Is there a way to fix this without a full reinstall of the game? (I will definatly just give up on SF if I have to reinstall)

Don't give up that may be the easiest thing but it might work. It happens to me to sometimes I don't know what is up.
