ok so i got bf2:SF arriving tomorrow and i was just wondering how do you unlock the weapons because i think you dont get them moving through the ranks.

When your rank up, there's a screen that pops u out in the screen asking you to unlock a gun.
Install it, play a round on SF, then check BFHQ!

so how many guns will i beable to get, im a first sergeant now
For every unlock you got in bf2 vanilla you will get an unlock in sf, at first sergeant rank you will have only 2 unlocks left to go.

so that will be 6 unlocks on bf:sf i will get (just summing every thing up )
6 ublocks total.. They dont have to be SF weapons... A SF Unlock is just an Unlock... So if you have vanilla unlocks left to ge, you can get themm too.
To get the F2000 do u need the g3?
Yes, the BF2 weapons have to be unlocked first to be able to get the corresponding SF/EF weapon.
So its like G36C>SCAR-L, M95>L96A1, and so on?
