20-40fps in a full fletched firefight.

I get 20-40fps when i am in an area where there are a lot of troops, is this normal?

My specs are AMD 3500+, Leadtek 7800gt, 2gb Geil Ram and a 430w PSU by coolermaster.

Eg. A whole lot of US troops and MEC troops crowd around Junkyard, a base on jalalabad AND, Karkand Hotel at start of the round.

Anyway, that's about normal, I've got the card a few steps up from that and I still get a tiny bit of lag in really big firefights.

Knowing what resolution you play at, and at what gfx settings, would help.

Those have huge impact on the expected fps rates.

E.g. at 1600x1800, full settings and 4xAA, don't expect much with your card, but if you're running all low at 800x600, something's wrong...

You can try a differnt set of drivers, and make shure you have the latest chip set drivers too.

Im runnig 92.91. You can try 91.47, .48. It may improove youre FPS.

I have my settings according to tweak guides and u see my specs below and that does not look noticeably better than what i play with and do u have a 21 inch flat panel?

Then my old crappy pc owns yours.

CPU : amd 2800+
RAM : corsair 1.5 gig
Vid-card : ati x1600pro (512mb, agp slot)
PSU : 450 w

And with this system i get 55 fps in a area with troops. if no troop im at 90 fps, helo 90 fps & jet 90 fps
