ok i searched my realted problems. then after doing all the instructions on fixing it i went into SF got to login and server select. after that server select i picked a server connect. then finish loading then goes back to the server select. saying something like the server only allows unmodfieded content so i look it up on the forum, after that i followed on whatever i found. it said uninstall everything and install BF2>SF>patch. after that i tried getting into SF it crashes to desktop. one thing i wanna try is to delete everything and reinstall it in that order above


someone please help me, maybe just tell me where the SF folder is?

The SF folder is under /Program Files/EA Games/Battlefield 2/Mods/xpack. But this will not help to much unless you have a backup of the original files. If you are comfortable with regedit you should do the following. Uninstall Battlefield completely then check the registry and make sure that all the BF2 keys have been removed. Make sure that the Battlefield 2 folder is gone from /Program Files/EA Games/ then reinstall from scratch download 1.4 full and install it only "Do not do the incremental patches."

hmm incremental patches the ones from the cd? if so how do i stop it from patching
