Patch 1.4 Versus Patch 1.12

There been alot of talk about what patch was better and so on..

So lets get some actual numbers...

Another question - Would you be pissed if EA / DICE made 1.5 patch (if there even was one) roll-back from some of the current things back to 1.12, or happy?

If EA / DICE did these few things, i think it would make alot of the people that quit, re-think BF2, and maybe even put some more hope in BF2142

Reset the Jets AA to 1.12 - but keep the ground AA the way it is now.

Return the Blackhawk to its former glory - not exactly like the mini-guns were in 1.12, but way better then 1.4

Fix the TV missles so its not a matter of "seeing who can stay out of range the longest"
- A Examples of how this could be done
Introduce 2-3 "Long range TV missles" that could shoot longer then the normal ones, but make them have a smaller turning radius to keep it far. And drop the normal TV missle ammo by 2-3, depending on how many they would add

Fix the prone delay so it doesn't feel as glitchy as it is right now, make is so you can still prone spam and get out of prone quickly, but with out the ability to shoot your weapon - much how bunny hoping is right now

i voted for patch 1,4 and i also liked 1,12 and before you say it i didnt get pwnted or whined about any patches .

i like 1.4 because of new map and fixing some major problems for me .CTD and other stuff.

1.12 HAD to be tamed down a tad it was really funny at first to see c4 tossing but every wanker did it so it lost the fun element and had no psrt in game .

B'H should never had been removed imho but the AA which all the pilots whined about needed to be fixed and guess what is was whined about again and now its fucked .

my thoughts about both patches if you dont like them FUCK OFF bf2 rules no matter what play it or leave simple dont whine your ass about it .

I played the game almost from the start so I have been through all the patches. I still think patch 1.4 is the best one so far. IO really kick ass.

Some things had to change back then, bunny hopping wasn't so hard to use because you just jumped and spammed crouch buttom. Nothing hard with it. I did it to and noticed how godlike the PKM was when it was at it full power. Now everything is kinda fair but I still think Blackhawk should have a little bit bigger spray on the minigun. Grenade launcher should be reworked on to. Other than that I find the game just fine.

wtf is my choice of patch got to do with my stats .

if you read my post i like both patches but i chose 1.4 because of the things it has done for me .

eg:-

new map

fixed crashes.

Most patches sucked imo. 1.4 is the best so far. 1.03 (I think it was) screwed up the ranks, 1.12 screwed up a lot of things because of SF (reinstall problem, SF unlocks, etc.), 1.2 F'ed up air combat with the 100 percent accurate missiles, 1.3 I don't think was too bad but it still messed a few things up, and 1.4 for me fixed a lot of problems and introduced IO, and a new map. So that's my favorite.

I dont know. 1.4 seems to offer the cleanest running game, with minimised glitches.
